Teeth whitening

Whiteners use oxidation agents, carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide placed on the tooth surface in the shape of a gel. The system applied does not damage the enamel; it is painless and gives excellent results.

Before applying the oxidation gel, it is necessary to clean the soft and hard tooth film, polish the teeth and protect the gums from the gel. In practice we distinguish between whitening the vital and non-vital teeth. The same agent is used in all methods, but in different concentrations depending on whether the whitening is done in the office under the dentist’s control or at home.

To whiten non-vital teeth successfully, it is necessary to undergo endodontic therapy and protect the entrance to the root canals well.
